3rd 3D modle experement for the Public interactive water installation

3rd experement of 3D working model
THREE     The third model was downsized in order to make it more managable as the previous versions were too big and heavy. There has been more thought given to this construction that is derived from the origonal sketches and plans. The model wil now have the suggestion of a bicycle and a hand pump, either of which may or maynot work. In any case there will be a working pond pump, representing the recycling flow up and over the installation back to its water source.
Firstley I had to have a hole cut out of a piece of hardboard (for the plastic bowl to be fitted into) as this will represent the 'pond', This was made by pressing and heating a piece of plastic over a rouded shaped made out of clay which formed the required shape.
Secondley the plastic pond was screwed to the wooden frame that I had made approx 24''x24''. Then painted with acrylic paint and then I added modeling gravel and grass to the base giving a rough texture to the base, then I made a hill by rolling paper and gluing it to the board, then painted to match the base, I then made an assortment of tree's, bushes and shrubs, made from gathering twigs from the instalation site, and modeling grasses, pressed into plastercine and polystyrene, which are detachable (for easy transportation.)
Thirdley  I inserted the pond pump by attatching plastic tubing to the 3D model which was made from small pieces of polystyrene and plastercine, I tried to use small stoneand rocks but could not get them to glue together, so I decided to use the same materials mentioned earlier, this proved to be of a satsifactory standerd, On the whole I was quite pleased with the whole concept as the pump worked effectivley.
I was able to show the bicycle but unfortunatley couldnot make the hand pump small enough for the 3D model, which are an integral and important part of the whole feature.
